SteadyTap

Privacy Policy

Effective July 28, 2026

This policy applies to the public SteadyTap iOS and iPadOS app distributed through the Apple App Store. SteadyTap is operated by the developer identified on its App Store product page ("we").

Data the app stores

SteadyTap stores practice settings, calibration measurements, and recent session summaries on your device. This information is used only to adapt touch targets and show local progress.

Collection and tracking

The App Store release does not require an account, send practice data to us or a third party, include advertising or analytics SDKs, or use cross-app or cross-website tracking. It does not collect payment, contact, location, health, or diagnostic data.

Sharing

Because the app does not collect data, we do not sell, rent, or share app data. A user may choose to share a result through Apple's system share sheet. The receiving app's policy then applies.

Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on the device until the user selects Clear Local Data or removes the app. Device backups may contain app data depending on the user's Apple backup settings and are controlled by Apple and the user.

Purpose

SteadyTap is a touch-practice and interface-calibration utility. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, monitor, prevent, or treat any condition.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults because it does not collect personal information from users.

Changes

If a future release adds accounts, analytics, advertising, or cloud data transfer, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that release is distributed.

Contact

Send privacy or support requests through the private route on the SteadyTap support page. Do not include sensitive personal or medical information in a public GitHub issue.
